Renekton "E" movement bug

I thought it was just me, but I noticed that when I do E with Renekton only once(without doing the consecutive attacks), Renekton will for no reason move in the opposite direction of where I want to go for a few seconds. This happens not only with champions that can taunt. Unless I am aware of some mechanic that has this happen, I don't think this is supposed to happen. When doing E consecutively, this doesn't happen.
