So, i have 2 lvl 6 swain tokens, and a tyrant swain SHARD. I own the skin, but i wanna use it as the permanent to get my level 6. But because i own the skin already, i cant make it into a permanent, so i cant use it to upgrade my mastery level

You CAN'T use a SKIN shard or SKIN permanent to upgrade champ mastery.
You HAVE to use a CHAMPION shard or CHAMPION permanent or Blue Essence to upgrade champ master.
You can only break down that Tyrant Swain skin shard for Orange Essence or use 2 other skins for a different random skin permanent. You cannot use skin shards in champion mastery.

A champ permanent is kind of useless. It's a crafted Champ Shard that sits in your inventory because you already have the champion.

I don't know. I don't know why the option exists. Though, you are trying to craft a skin shard you already own, so there is that.

You can buy some random champion shards for IP and disenchant them for Blue Essence, and if you lucky you might get a Swain shard, either of these can be used for Champion mastery.
Skin shards/permanents don't work for champion mastery. A skin shard/permanent is very different from a Champion shard/permanent!

You cannot upgrade a skin shard into a permanent if you already own the skin. You can do this with champion shards, for gods only know what reason, but you cannot do it for skin shards.

A champion shard is something you already know, a shard of the champion you get from hextech chests. A champion permanent, however, is what you get when you re-roll 3 champion shards. That is what a champion permanent is, it's not just any permanent unlockable piece of content. You will not be able to use the Tyrant Swain shard, or any skin shard for that matter, to upgrade to level 6.

Make a new thread, with your own bug. Then use clipping tool in Windows to cut out a picture of your problem. Then use a site like imgur or something like that to post it online so you can copy the URL (it has to end in a .png, .jpg, or .gif) and paste it into the body of your post.
ONYXJAMES1 votesSo I took 3 skins and turned then into a exiled Morgana skin and it won't let me use the skin permanent I also have a braum champion shard permanent that won't let me unlock it either I've tried every restarted client shut my PC completely off and rebooted still says " you drop in a shard, expecting a magical( and totally scientific) transformation... But instead your shard pops back out. Please try restarting your client. Which I did mutiple times. If you continue to see this message try again later ; there may be issues with the service. Well riot I spent my hard earned money on these hexchest for skins and champs that I can't even get after unlocking plz help me out
