Killing Illaoi tentacles counting as wards destroyed

I was laning against an Illaoi in a game earlier so I was killing a lot of her tentacles. In the match history stats page it said I destroyed 19 wards which was not possible. I'm pretty sure that killing Illaoi tentacles is counting towards wards destroyed.
