Hexakill Champion Select Chat D/C

Once last night, and twice today an error popped as soon as the champ select started reading "Chat disconnected..." It wouldn't allow me to select a champion, and was apparently frozen on the ban phase. All the champions were grey, and none of my teammates champion portraits were popping up. I waited in each queue for about 10 minutes before closing my window, thinking either this game already cancelled due to me not selecting a champion or the client froze. Obviously, when I reopened my League client I had a wait time. After the third time the wait time was around 13 minutes. This doesn't seem right.
