So basically Azir gets teleported a flash length behind the soldier?

Or W range.

I think it might be due to the fact Azir's dash is faster than Conquering Sands and him appearing to reach the soldier is the actual bug.

Was it like that before recent patches? Personally, I was never able to do max range WQE in a straight line. 90 degree one, yes. Never straight line one, though.

WQE? either you misstyped/meant WEQ, or.. well. WQE requires no timing :P unless you are pressured with time. If I am to assume you meant WEQ, which makes more sense with the rest you've said, yes, this does make a whole lot of sense why this might be "a bigger issue than it seems" I think i should do a test to see which is faster, the Q or the E I will post here to see which one is faster when i wake up and i find a buddy

Well, I played Azir back when he was riddled with bugs and learned only WQE works for a long range dash. Might've changed since then. :P

The WEQ was like this since release, I just thought that Riot was going to fix it within the next 4 patches.

Pretty sure it is a general bug that has been happening with all dashes and not exclusive to Azir although it's probably more prevalent on Azir. Example: Sejuani dashes over a wall but gets returned to the other side of the wall. My guess would be that if you don't quite make it over the wall the game sees that you are in an impossible location and returns you back. What should be seen is that your character smashing his face into the wall (similar to a fail flash) and you notice that you failed the dash.

That's probably the one attempted escape at MSI you are talking about. And you have a point, but at the same time it's not enough evidence even if there is a "teemo" between the soldier and the wall, Azr still gets bugged back Although, flashes for instance can potentiall cover more distance if you flash over specific walls, and that needs to be applied to Azir's WEQ. So it's like: a general bug happening on a more specific champion. I suppose. Correct me if I am wrong, thanks for the comment.
