Nautilus LeBlanc bug

Last night I was playing mid as Nautilus because of champ select communication problems and last minute champ switching and so I ended up as Mid Nautilus with smite laning against a LeBlanc and I realized somewhere in the middle of the match that if I hit LeBlanc with my auto and the passive root took effect it left a timer on her letting me know when I could root her again, which is normal. However if she did her mimic clone doohickey it would leave the root timer on the real LeBlanc and the new clone would not have one so I could instantly tell who the real LeBlanc was. I did not have to ask her to stand up.

Not a bug, just one of the unrealized weaknesses of that passive.

What Algorth said. It applies to all clone abilities, i think. The Shaco ult and the Wu Kong clone have the same effect, with Shaco it works even if you just ping them.
