Unable to change profile background in the background select menu (plus loot tab is still annoying)

You guys know that nifty new profile background feature that lets you select an owned champion/skin to feature as your profile background rather than just getting what you play a lot? Yeah, my friends don't seem to know it was added either.

Anyways, I wanted to update my profile background and none of the buttons do anything. The save button won't swap my splash art out, the restore default doesn't change anything, it looks like I am just stuck with what I have, which is luckily a pretty cool splash but I also do like some variety from time to time.

I don't have any of the super gamebreaking client bugs that pop up every day on the forums but I gotta say, there are so many annoyances left unaddressed for so long. My main gripe other than this latest development is you have to click the loot tab once to get a black screen, then click away, then click back to get to the actual loot screen. I know it's not just me because all my friends complain about it too. Come on Rito.
