New Client is unplayable.

After installing the open beta test, if it can even be called that, I can't even get to the login screen. There are multiple people with this problem and there should be an option to revert back to the previous login screen and turn off the update.

You probably need to include some more details about your computer if you can't even see the login screen. I've installed it on multiple computers no problem (other than the audio being too loud).

Computer specs to do with this, league is suppose to work on my operating system and it was working properly before. It's a software malfunction that results from conflicting with some other background software that the programmers weren't smart enough to account for, or it conflicts with a previous setting for how the launch screen executes.

Your response is so utterly unhelpful you might as well tell Riot "I don't care if you fix it or not." You don't even list your operating system for crying out loud!

It's ironic that you say I'm being unhelpful when you're contributing nothing and wasting everyone's time with posts that solve nothing without even stating that you have a problem (besides a mental one). This thread is to show the problem exists and Riot should already be competent enough to know what operating systems they support, I shouldn't need to tell them. Furthermore, no one from Riot is in this thread and they already barely care in the first place which is why they rarely ever take the time to talk with an individual thread. All they need to do is see that the problem exists, that it affects multiple people and then release a new update soon that fixes it along with a message that is addressed to everyone. If RIOT wants to know my operating system for whatever unrelated reason, then RIOT can ask me, but they shouldn't only be fixing the problem for just one operating system anyway, and obviously if I'm on NA servers then my operating system is only one of two options, both of which are normally addressed at the same time and should both be fixed.

I'm trying to get you to provide some of the information you were asked to provide - http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/3mQGBEjA-how-to-report-a-game-bug

League of Legends supports 5 versions of Windows and 6 versions of MacOS. Far more than the "one of two" you describe - https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752654-Minimum-and-Recommended-System-Requirements

While they likely have all 11 OS's installed to test, something in their test configuration may be different from yours. Narrowing it down helps immensely for finding and fixing bugs.

No one asked me to provide shit, I didn't report it as a support ticket and no one asked you to be here, you're just an egotistical maniac who wants to get up votes by shoving your posts into anyone's thread when the reality is you've solved nothing, get a life. It's not your problem, it's Riot's problem and instead of answering 50,000 threads they're just going to release one massive thread and update for everyone to see, so I'm sticking with the legacy client until they figure it out a way to play it without some 8-hour long loophole I have to set up.

If I was trying to farm up votes I'd be posting about how Vayne needs a nerf, not wasting my time on a post no significant portion of the boards was going to read. I'm here because I'm trying to help.

I linked you to a post by Riot Afic outlining what you should put in a bug report, and it's pinned at the top of the Report a Bug section. That's Riot politely asking you to include as much information as you can. "It's broke, fix it" doesn't help anyone at Riot fix your problem, since they wouldn't have shipped it unless they thought it worked.

Ultimately you're hoping someone else has the exact same problem as you but documented it better, because if Riot can't reproduce the bug you're having eventually they will discontinue the old client all together leaving you high and dry.

Saying what OS (and version) you use doesn't cost you anything, but it could significantly help Riot's QA team find the bug, which helps them fix the bug. I really have no idea why you're being so defensive about it.

There you go again trolling and wasting a time on a dead thread. Go get a life.

Same for me. I just updated to the new Beta and when I launch it opens to the launch screen. When I hit the "Launch" button it disappears, I get a cog for a few seconds, then nothing. When I go into my task manager it shows to versions of LoL running in the background.

And there we go, just as I predicted, Riot was working on it and they put something out that fixed the problem in general for at least a certain number of users affected by a software conflict that they adjusted the client for. Now I'm on the new client and nothing you said contributed in any way.

I have issues with this beta too, I literally can't play and I got the leaver buster because of this new client errors. I'm quite mad because of this.

Just a matter of time I suspect. They'll release something that will fix it, otherwise you can also open a support ticket.
