Fiddlesticks Ult Bug?

I have had several instances where after I jump in with Fiddlesticks' ult the animation does not appear and it does no damage. I have made sure I'm not going crazy by even asking the enemy team and my fellow teammates and they have also seen this happen in which they have. I'm not getting stunned, silenced, disabled or flash before my ult. Are you aware of any issues with this?
