Can't right click/use Championship Shards

I'm currently unable to right click and/or use the 29 championship shards. They're going to expire soon and I've been unable to use them. It feels like wasted money. What can I do?

do they expire, when do they expire?
do skin shards also expire
do ward shards expire? who, what ,where,when, why!!!!!????????

They expire Nov 6th, you get them from championship chests that cost real money.
