Can't leave Clash team

We weren't able to get together a full group so we broke up. However, the team still shows even though it's disbanded, and it won't go away from the top of the friend list, nor can the team conversation in chat be closed.

Restart the client and it should be gone.

Worked for me, thanks! :)

Did you click the X right next to the lock in button on the bottom of the clash tab? If that does not help you can try and Submit a Support Ticket to Riot.

There is not button. The team, is disbanded (the clash screen shows the "make a team" screen) but the team is still above the friend list as "pending" and the team chat cannot be closed.

If you already tried making a new team and you could not, I would recommend doing what I said previously and submitting a Support Ticket if you have not already done so. You can also report the bug in the client as well via the bottom right button that looks like a bug.
