Matchmaking failing to display that a game has been found

This never happened to me until the most recent patch. Extremely often now, instead of the 'sword sheathing noise' or whatever it is playing when a game is found and the words "Match Found!" appearing, the game will just play the sword sound and tell me that I failed to respond to a matchmaking queue. This is infuriating.
