Ranked Decay yet I played yesterday

Yesterday I received a notice that I had 9 days before my ranked decay happened. Believing it was a simple mistake I paid little heed and went on to play a few games 3 of which were ranked.

only to log in today to find yet again I receive the notice but now it is 8 days. What is going on?
