In game Chat Not Working Properly

This is a consistent problem with my games, where it looks like this in game when pinging or even typing once in a while, but mostly almost always pings. It won't show when I ping what was pinged and I have to rely on seeing it live (which isn't a problem, but makes timestamps useless and cross map pings obnoxious if not looking exactly where at the time.)

At one point, I couldn't see chat at all because it wasn't loading and would ONLY show my summoner name or there's on repeat.

Also doesn't show item pings, gold ping, etc.

I play on a MacBook if that has anything to with the random bug. Hope to see this fixed soon!
