[RESOLVED] Authentication and Game Server Issues

Due to an increase in posts indicating server issues across multiple regions (including login issues from yours truly), I've created this megathread to compile reports and hopefully obtain some visibility on the issue.

It seems like players are beginning to be able to login. Give it a shot if you haven't done so recently.

Network Operations – 3:47PM PDT We're aware of a problem causing login attempts to fail, and are working on a fix.

Network Operations – 3:14PM PDT Ranked queues are temporarily disabled while we investigate an issue that's negatively impacting games.

Seems like the whole of League is disabled, not just ranked games.

Was just in a normal and 3 out of the 5 people on my team would go through periods of not being able to move and our ping was normal. Eventually we were able to move and quickly ended the game believing it was a Drop Hack on the opponents side.

Our stats wouldn't load and I decided to restart my client and as soon as I did I was put in a loading queue to go back in the same game that had ended.

Did someone at Riot hit the patch 8.14 downtime early?

I work 60+ hours a week and finally just got out, was dying to play league and zone out but can't even get into a game, pretty butthurt honestly.. I get that server issues are going to happen, but would appreciate some feedback on here or elsewhere from a Rioter on how long this might take to resolve.

I just tried logging on to PBE right now and it's not letting me. It's saying the same thing as live/NA servers. League as a whole is definitely down.

I was thinking of playing LoL for a few hours, since I got nothing better to do, and after the very first match the game just doesn't let me play. "Sorry, we were unable to start the game." The f*ck is going on, Riot?? [sg-shisa]

At least I can see that I'm not the only one with this issue.

so ya know what's up with the servers? something wrong with it? and im starting to see some links to board posts being invalid and not found grant i can find them in the boards.

it seems LoL as a whole, including it's boards is going haywire, as if there was a potential security breach. play careful everyone.

I think you guys should just do an emergency maintenance so players won't have to deal with this problem rather than fixing it while the server is online

I'm queuing for ARAM games and the game will not start. Always quits the lobby saying something like, "Sorry, we couldn't start your game".

This is not just one queue.

This is custom, TT, Rift, Howling Abyss, etc.

EVERYTHING is down and therefore the notice should be changed to reflect that.

Any mode I try queuing for just doesn't start. Every time the timer reaches 0, right as its about to go into the loading screen, I just get booted back to Home and see a message that says "Sorry, we were unable to start your game" [sg-ahri-1]
