I've noticed that in some cases, while playing Yi, if you activate your E while using your Q, the bonus attack damage doesn't get added but the ability (E) goes on cooldown anyways.

Apparently, E doesn't really add AD but just basic attack damage:doesn't add to scalings.

Master Yi's E is a passive AD stat gain, when you activate it, it adds additional true damage onto your next few auto attacks, when your E is on cooldown, you lose the bonus ad stat it gives until it goes off cooldown
