Bug with Clash tiers? Gold 5 at tier I.
I made a team. I'm the only one in it right now. I'm Gold 5 0lp.
The team tier is I. That doesn't make any sense. I shouldn't be in the top clash tier.
Is this a bug?

I really hope this is a bug. In the Clash Beta, our team went 2W 4L in Tier 4 ... I'm Silver 4 ... and this new Clash is saying Tier 1?
Edited to add: OH! The tooltip on the clash tier says: "Your own tier can change each Clash tournament depending on the skill level of participating players."
Once you have all 5 members on your team, you'll get your actual tier for your team... that makes more sense.
I think it might not be a bug. I was just having a conniption because I'm gold 2 and I'm also tier 1. Doesn't feel quite fair, but here we are, friendo. We'll just make the most of it.
This is not a bug. This is working as intended.
Its based off solo que.
The tier ranking for clash is correct for you as of now.
What happens is this.
It is ranking you overall vs everyone else that has already joined a team for clash.
What this means is as more higher mmr player join teams your overall tier will drop.
Stupid way to do it but just how it is.
Right now you all are in higher tiers cuz more lower mmr players have signed up then higher mmr players.
so you are currently actually in the highest 2 tiers compared to everyone else signed up.
Does that make sense?
Your tier in clash is based off not only your solo que mmr but also the opponents that have signed up to play as well.
If no one higher mmr then you signs up you will remain in your current clash tier.
