Aatrox's Q

After testing out different stuff builds and getting some practice in I noticed something. Doesn't it feel like you can't que cast the second part of your q but you can third part? Like I tired quite a few times in the practice tool try to get the second q to come out bit faster or cast right when its off cd but just wouldn't go unless I wait half a second after it comes off cd but the third part of his q comes out just fine
