When I click play and look at queue options, I'm unable to select anything other than blind picks for Summoner's Rift and Twisted Treeline, ARAM, and ARURF. All of the other queue options (ranked, etc) have an error by them that says "Trouble fetching information for: Nefas. Affected players should quit and log back in if this persists. (5C)." However, quitting and logging back in doesn't do anything.
Same thing happening for me. You'll get an error if you try to play any of the other game modes as well.

ok so lots of people are getting this error. i wonder if riot will bother to respond, or just comment on lore stuff only like usual, since ya know, lore stuff is way more important than the game being completely broken. cough look at red tracker*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

If you try to join an arurf you will receive an "error occured while displaying ready check" as well
I received a queue dodge penalty. Why are players getting penalized for an error by Riot Games?

Glad I'm not the only one having this issue :s I tried restarting the client a few times but it didn't fix anything
Happening for me as well as the rest of my group. When the match making pops up for blind (only one that lets us make a group), we all hit accept but it says that one of us didn't accept. We gave up after getting a 15 minute dodge timer...
Ditto for me, and a few others have posted about this on Reddit - apparently even the EU servers are experiencing it.
I suppose almost everyone is getting this same error... I wonder if it'll be fixed any time soon?

Wasn't even getting an error notification. Got 5 min dodge penalty, tried restarting client, got 15 min penalty next time.

Im having the same problem, when i go to queue for urf it starts the timer. Then a match is found and as soon as i click accept, the accept and decline button go away. And i get an error saying "An unexpected error has occured while trying to join game" Or something like that. I would check again but it is apparently saying im declineing them and now i have a queue dodge timer of 15 minutes. This is really annoying seeing as i want to play urf. Fix soon please

Restarting my PC fixed the problem for me
more than 30min on spent on penalty

(5C)." --> well dang... try another mode... "Trouble fetching information for: Phobiefish. Affected players should quit and log back in if this persists. (5C)." --> gets penalty FML --> yet again riot disappoints and will probably continue to do so...
I mean even if they fix this issue will we get compensation for our lost time? #doubt

I just get an "error displaying ready check" AFTER I clicked accept. 3 times and i got the dodge penalty.
Same thing is happening to me. It says "An Unexpected Error Occurred During Ready Check" and then took me out of cue, and said I dodged and gave me a penalty.
