[GAMEPLAY] Deep Terror Nami recall

Blue Collar Bear··1 votes·913 views

Nami is on the enemy team. She attempted to back in view, and quickly cancelled the recall. The particles stayed, and I could see her in fog of war. I haven't been able to reproduce this yet.

Hey Blue Collar Bear -

Thanks for the report! Lemme hop into a game and try to get a repro on this one. :) I've heard of similar things happening in other cases before, but those were also hard to track down. I'll do my best!

Thank you very much for the response, Katey! I figured this would be hard to replicate, and I don't have the champion or skin to help try it out. Neither do any of my friends. I hope you're doing well, and that you have more luck than I did.

Hi hi! Quick update here - I'm not able to get a repro for this at this time, but I'm not giving up just yet. >:]

Determination is key!

To elaborate on the situation some more, she was backing in the river in front of dragon pit right around that corner below blue buff. We had temporary view of her through, I think, scrying orb, and someone killed it. The particles stayed through fog of war for one or two seconds before she finished her recall, and they disappeared. Hope it helps!

Detemmienation. :3

Thanks for the additional context! It's greatly appreciated! I think it may have to do with panning on and off camera w. FoW, which is a more common occurrence and systems issue. This could actually be a wicked good lead!

Great! I'm happy that my weird ability to remember games from weeks ago is of use. :D

speaking of recalls (and I know this isn't your department), when you have vision of an enemy who started recalling (using bot lane brushes as example here), and then the vision disappears (e.g a ward times out in the brush), you can still hear the recall SFX and will be able know when someone did recall.

It can be abused to know when you are now in a 2v1 situation and can go aggressive.

you guys aware of this and care to forward this to the proper dept?

I think I know what you're talking about, but you're right that it isn't something my team would handle. I can poke around and see who would own this type of thing.

I wonder, if you have access to the alpha client, would you be able to see it in the replays? (or maybe replay.gg?)

chances are no, but at least it will tell the Rioters what was happening and the criterias it may needed to repro it.

Nope. Sorry. I do believe it was back in 6.21, which would make the .bat files incompatible for viewing.
