Soraka's Q AoE indicator appears to be inaccurate

Even if the Q hits in the proper place, the actual AoE seems slightly narrower than indicated. Landing the Q actually requires a little adjustment as a consequence, because the outer edges of the circle don't seem to count as a hit when it lands.

Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't tested this, but it feels a bit off, and I'm not sure if it's just me experiencing some other factor.
