Issues with recording sounds for clips

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but has anyone else encountered an issue where your highlights wont record the sound from clips you are trying to make? Everything sounds fine and all while I'm watching a match. However, the moment I try watching a clip I made from said match, the little speaker thing in the client has a line over it and there is no sound in the clip. I've tried restarting my client and repairing it, but cant seem to find a solution =(

Does the clip or game in question happen to feature Pyke? Last I checked, Pyke's ultimate breaks the audio for highlights, specifically.

Just had this happen. Played a game as Ekko, and got a quadra-kill ace, but my recorded highlight of it has the same problem you describe (volume dial has a slash over it, and video is mute...) T.T

This has actually been a problem since the ability to record replays. There either wont be any sound, or the sound will be a high pitched screeching sound.

You would think they would fix this problem after all this time lol I've done everything including uninstalling and deleting all League of Legends files from my computer and then reinstalling. Still no luck -.-
