Alistar can't w Shyv ult?

I was playing alistar and there was a shyv ganking our lane. It was obvious that shyv was going to ult so i was prepared and when she did ult i w on her to push her away but it didn't do anything. Was just wondering if this is a bug or if shyv ult is supposed to be unstoppable?

It's probably one of those uninterruptable dashes, like malphite and hecarim's R. Azir's ult is the only way to stop them I believe.

no you can definitely be stopped during it, thresh hook, janna is annoying etc etc. Hard to say what happened though

It most certainly isn't unstoppable. Its actually one of the easiest to stop jumps in the game; I've actually been stuffed by Anivia walls coming up under me.

There are a number of reasons why this could have happened. First, you could have missed. I don't mean to insult you here, but you could have used your W a little too late or a little too early because of the moving hit box. Not likely, but possible. Also, if they had a Morgana on their team, if she black shielded Shyvana your W isn't going to be able to cc her. Thirdly, its possible she had a banshees's veil which would stop your W (you just said she was ganking your lane, doesn't say what time in the game this was).

It could also be none of those things and actually a bug. But there isn't really enough information to say. But Shyvana ultimate is definitely stoppable.

ye I didn't believe it either because i've been playing shyv quite a bit recently and know how easy it is to get stopped/cced whatever but I honestly can't explain what happened here. The replay is actually available because somebody in the game had it recorded on replay.gg the moment he's talking about happened just at about 7 mins into the game

Oh yeah she didn't have banshees and there was no morg or anything. She basically had nothing to stop my w but it might be cause i did it too late or early. I would say i w her while she was like 60%-70% into her ult. idk lool well i still won that game was just curious.

Probably a bug. Shyvanas ult is a buggy mess, a lot of times she won't drag people along, stuck at a wall even though you should easily be able to jump it, etc...
