Alistar can't w Shyv ult?

I was playing alistar and there was a shyv ganking our lane. It was obvious that shyv was going to ult so i was prepared and when she did ult i w on her to push her away but it didn't do anything. Was just wondering if this is a bug or if shyv ult is supposed to be unstoppable?

It's probably one of those uninterruptable dashes, like malphite and hecarim's R. Azir's ult is the only way to stop them I believe.

It most certainly isn't unstoppable. Its actually one of the easiest to stop jumps in the game; I've actually been stuffed by Anivia walls coming up under me.

There are a number of reasons why this could have happened. First, you could have missed. I don't mean to insult you here, but you could have used your W a little too late or a little too early because of the moving hit box. Not likely, but possible. Also, if they had a Morgana on their team, if she black shielded Shyvana your W isn't going to be able to cc her. Thirdly, its possible she had a banshees's veil which would stop your W (you just said she was ganking your lane, doesn't say what time in the game this was).

It could also be none of those things and actually a bug. But there isn't really enough information to say. But Shyvana ultimate is definitely stoppable.

Probably a bug. Shyvanas ult is a buggy mess, a lot of times she won't drag people along, stuck at a wall even though you should easily be able to jump it, etc...

Her hit box for knock back is larger than Ali head butt
