Auto re-connect doesn't work

The match started, I headed top lane, when I tired to hit "E", I got bugsplat, the client crashed and had to repair and download something, when done usually it auto-log you into the game like used to before this patch, but nothing happens the "Play" button shows, I clicked it and get an error that I can't start, I had to exit and relaunch the client all over for it to auto reconnect me.
