alt tab "lockout" glitch

Occasionally, when I tab out of league (both loading screen and ingame), League simply refuses to be tabbed back in.

No idea what causes this, but it is incredibly irritating when I miss 3 minutes of a game because I wanted to turn off a twitch stream in the loading screen.
