Very Big Bug on Fizz's R!

With the new patch that recently came, I noticed that when I throw my Shark (ultimate) on Fizz at Sivir or Malz they remove completely off them like how the old qss worked. I'm pretty sure this was not intended as Malzahar's passive only removed the slow from the ultimate. I'm not sure if Sivir could remove the ultimate entirely? Haven't played vs her in a long time, but for sure Malzahar's passive did not completely remove the shark.

Edit: Same with Morgana, it used to lock onto her without slow but now it doesn't lock on at all?
