Bots in Normal Games?

Has anyone else noticed an influx in bots appearing in normal games? At first I noticed them appearing constantly on Twisted Treeline. I was confused as to how players could be so bad until I realized they weren't real players. Apparently people make these bot accounts to play against them and boost their scores. I figured since 3v3 wasn't as common maybe that's why they were showing up so much, but then a bot showed up on the Rift (on our team of course) and it totally ruined the game.

I've noticed these bots mostly play support champs, have no mastery and all have names like ivMkDaniel with some random letters and a name. Why is this happening and has anyone else noticed this?
