If you're revealed as Akali, but in shroud (unable to be clicked) Zyra's plants can still attack you as normal. I'm not sure if this is intended because it would be an answer to an existential question about whether AI have to right click to target something, but I still think it shouldn't be allowed considering minions don't attack Akali in stealth.
iirc given the interaction w/ Rylai's, Zyra plants might count as "ability damage" for all intents and purposes.
i suppose it is still a funky interaction but that might be what's going on, Shrug.
sounds like a way to maybe counter Akali? Akali being able to even avoid turrets is a bit broken, so having a few champions who can still get to her in the shroud isn't a bad thing.. alot of people are using Galio to counter akali, because his taunt can get her in the shroud, and his wind can hit her. so having Zyra's plants able to hit her is just another decent counterplay.
Sounds like a bug, but its a good one if so. That ability is ridiculous.
