Twitch bug with R and attacking Inhibitors (only in VS AI mode..?)

I was just playing an AI game and was attacking an inhibitor with Twitch. I activated his ultimate in order to deal more damage to the inhibitor but instead I went from doing some damage to no damage at all. Perhaps this is only in vs. AI mode? Haven't tested it in other modes. Will play Twitch in other modes and report back.
