Black Screen On Mac After Champ Select Is Finished

No matter what mode i try to play after i get out of champ select my entire screen goes black happens on pre and the live client as well.

My Mac's league of legend isn't fine. I've just updated to recent versions and I was fine yesterday before 5pm. Feels bad....

Do you have the PBE client on your computer? I updated the PBE and it broke my original client. I was able to log into a different Mac OS and it worked fine but not with the PBE installed.

We might just have to wait for them to patch the PBE (sadly). Maybe try to repair both clients. One of the Discussions said that it worked for them. (but not for me).

Yea that didn't work for me even after deleting the PBE this sucks and is honestly so lame. Also the spacebar spam never works for me I get a black screen and can't move my mouse at all.

I thought it was the [Enter] key (return) not spacebar????

Soooooooo................... there might be a really stupid "fix"

if you read this post apparently the fix is to spam enter when you enter the game. It just worked for me. Just got into a custom game on the PBE and Reg Client.

If you see the white screen spam your enter key. For me it started to beep, and like 5-10 seconds after it started beeping I saw the loading screen. Hope it works for you

I heard about that it won't work cause I had in my settings in game to override mac os so that i can use command q to lvl spells

I have those settings checked and it worked for me. :/

The only other thing I could do would be [option][command][esc] which force quit the application. But I dont think that will help you. Hope it gets fixed soon. :)
