Placements made no sense

I was s3 last season and I went 7:3 and got placed into b2. Last season during my place ments i got 4:6 and got B1. During s5, I had silver5 MMR for norms. This actually makes no sense so if this is a bug plz help

Riot has stated multiple times leading up to, and as an announcement on the actual client this most recent update with the start of the season, that the majority of players will get placed lower than they were last season, due to the top percentage of players being shifted down. What that means, I am not exactly sure in terms of actual numbers, but it sounds like most people are getting placed significantly lower this season.

Best advice, if you are truly a player of a certain rank, just play the games and you will be there in no time.

I get Gold high Silver every season, even placed Gold 5 in flex solo... How I go 10-0 and get placed Bronze 1?
