Not able to connect to chat

So starting tonight, around 11 PM pacific time (which was hen i logged in tonight, first time so far today), the chat section was like this. thinking it might be a temporary thing because of my internet i logged out and restarted the client and logged back in, to no avail. after that I got into a game and was never able to connect to the pregame chat nor was I able to connect to the post game chat either. i was just wondering if there is a way to fix this because I know it isn't my internet because i am able to make this post, and i am also able to connect to and type in my discord servers. Also I want to add that everything else works in the client, it is only the chats that are not working for me
