Level 4 to Level 6 mid fight

I was in a match a few moments ago against a Shyv who was able to go from level 4 to level 6 mid fight. She didnt get any xp from minions or anything (i dont think they give that much), so any word on what might be going on? That set me back 2 levels, and a death......n she snowballed the game.
