Post Game Chat EXTREMELY Laggy

It seems that no matter how fast I type in post game chat, it always appears in the chat bar at a rate of about 2 letters a second. This means that if I wanted to hold a conversation, I'm basically only able to type a sentence every 20 seconds or so, even longer if I fat finger a key and need to delete it (the same delay applies to deleting letters). Would be very great to not have this.
