Pings for summoner cool downs are not working

So basically idk what happen but all day and for some time yesterday pings have not been working properly. When I said something about it not working for me trying to ping 5 enemy Summoners blown ganking bot, and then me having to type it all out my Support said they should work. They tried it right after and got a similar weird meaningless ping in chat same as mine.

So far I noticed if you ping summoners it ether comes up as you typing a blank statement in chat or one similar to this pic. https://imgur.com/a/mK4tH
