Yorick Mistwalkers fail to Leap

Yorick minions aren't always leaping to targets marked by E? * r/yorickmains

This is a bug that we recently noticed, and I have yet to go into a practice mode to try to recreate it consistently, but will be within the next day or so. I wanted to drop a line here so that perhaps it could be looked into and fixed.

Originally, I think the leap was only designed to happen if beyond a certain range, because at closer ranges it would be faster for them to walk, but now that they deal damage on landing from the leap I think it would be best if they always leaped even if at close range.

ohh so its a bug? I've noticed also.... I thought its a ninja nerf for yorick but I hope not

Okay, so it is VERY easy to reproduce, get some walkers, spawn several test dummies, get them aggro'd and spam E at the targets varying the range and positioning to see how they will neglect to jump or sometimes even change targets if multiple enemies are marked at one time. This makes the functionality of the skill difficult.

After reviewing for several minutes it appears this is due to the mistwalkers getting stuck in certain animations, whether they be moving animations or attack animations, that have to finish before the action to change targets then detect distance and determine whether or not leaping to that location would be faster than just walking. The combination of these make the skill react sluggishly and make it a bit unpredictable.

I suggest utilizing an auto attack animation reset for their leap, so that it will automatically finish whatever they were doing and instantly perform the leap and attack regardless.
