Spectator Mode Icon Bug

While spectating, I noticed that I couldnt see the icon for gnar on both the mini map and on the side bar. Even when i clicked on him, the champion icon would not display in the stats box (not shown in the picture, unfortunately). Also, I'm pretty dumb to not have thought of this, but he was dead when i took the screen cap. BUT I SWEAR IT WAS TRUE! Jokes aside, it's not the worst of bugs, but hey, here "it is".

EDIT: Also, the malzahar is someone on my friends list. This is a ranked match. In case thats helpful at all.
