Can't Create Lobby and Friends Can't Invite Me on First Login (Client bug)

Forenote: This is not something I can force to replicate, to my knowledge, but I have an idea as to the trigger, which I'll describe first.

Potential Trigger (in steps):

  • 1: Boot up League for the first time in a period of hours, or for the first time since last computer shut-down. (Unsure of which, potentially both.)
  • 2: Switch to a different region. (I go from NA to EUNE, and vice-versa. For the purposes of this, I will be referring to NA and EUNE as separate cases, as I'm not quite sure if this happens on other regions. I only use NA and EUNE accounts with any reliable frequency.)
  • 3: Log in with an account on that region.

EUNE to NA:

  • 4: Wait for friend(s) to log in.
  • 5: Have friend(s) create a lobby, and either attempt to invite or attempt to join.
  • 6: If invited, the invite is nowhere to be seen and will never appear. If attempting to join an open party, this will cause an error to pop up: "Unable to join party."
  • 7: Close League and log in once more. The bug will not happen again on this account.
  • 8: The NA bug can also happen after this one. Attempt to switch regions and log in to NA.
  • 9: The game should default to Summoner's Rift, Co-Op vs. AI, and all other game modes should be greyed out.
  • 10: Log out again and log back in. The bug for both regions is now fixed until the next computer shot-down or set of hours passes. (unsure)

NA to EUNE:

  • 4: Attempt to create a lobby.
  • 5: The game will default to Summoner's Rift, Co-Op vs. AI, no matter what was selected prior. (Had this happen with SR and ARAM selected prior to last log-out, so this is not exclusive to what was selected before.)
  • 6: All game modes will be locked, including SRvs.AI and TFT, and the game is inaccessible.
  • 7: Close League and log in again. The bug will not happen again on this account.
  • 8: The EUNE bug can happen after this one. Attempt to switch regions and log in to EUNE.
  • 9: Attempting to join a friend's lobby should result in a pop-up error: "Unable to join party." Invites will not work.
  • 10: Log out again and log back in. The bug for both regions is now fixed temporarily.

This sort of bug or issue does not happen for any other game I own, nor do I have any issue with staying logged in after the bug is cleared. It's a very strange one, and I'm not sure what the cause is, but it has happened every day to me since Patch 9.23's release.
