So Avast is doing that thing where it blocks LoL due to "potential danger."

I just figured it out! I had to go into my virus vault and 'restore and add to exclusions' to get the patch to run. I'm not sure why LoL didn't foresee this before launching the update. but either way it seems its only bad for avast.

To be precise, it removes the League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_patcher\releases\0.0.0.53\deploy\LoLPatcherUx.exe

You can fix this by adding the entire LoL directory to exceptions, but still, this confused mefor a while

heres what i did to fix when my avast did that very same thing: right clic on the avast icon, select virus chest, and from the riot lol laucher "problem", right clic and select "restaure and add to exceptions". i was finally able to open the lol laucher after that.

i have a problem when i went to the virus chest there was no lolpatcher.exe or lollauncher.exe

Yeah, had same problem. Didn't see this soon enough so I had to reinstall and then add exclusion. . .

Thank god.... I have been scratching my head over this ever since the new patch.... Had my Avast on silent mode so the alert never popped up for me... Uninstalled from my SSD, installed on my HDD and my external before finding your post... Rito PLZ.
