It's been brought up before and Riot ignored it completely.
Whenever Sion dies in passive form, my entire team's screen freezes for like half a second. It's annoying and hasn't gotten fixed for like 5 months.

Have you reached out for fixes, either on the Help & Support board, through a ticket, or the Player Support knowledgebase? This is probably isolated to your client or hardware/software you are using. Typical fixes would be things like reinstalling/repairing your client, changing some of your video settings either through the card's software or the client, or updating drivers.
This doesn't happen to everyone so most likely there's something you can do about it.

I doubt it's a problem on Riot's end because most people haven't run into it. Likely it's graphics drivers/card or hardware, I'd talk to support directly because it likely isn't a bug for them to fix, so much as it is a hardware/software error on your end.
