League hard crashing, not sure what to do, help?

Aight, for the past month or so (I can't quite recall when it first happened) League has been hard crashing on me. In the past, the game has messed up for me, especially if I try loading it up after alt-tab to read something, but they were relatively distanced in between them, and I could reconnect within a minute or two, just had to restart the client.

Now however, it's way beyond that. Every 1-3 days of booting up a league game at least one will freeze while in the middle of the game. Typically, I could restart the client and go from there, but now it locks my screen. I can still have certain overlays (cycling through tabs, ctrl-alt-delete) but can never change off of the now frozen League screen, so opening task manager does nothing as I won't be able to select league and force it to close. Alt-F4 doesn't work, and Windows Key+Down to show desktop also does not work. The only thing that does is Ctrl-Alt-Del and signing out of my account, forcing all active programs to close. This makes me lose about 5-7 minutes of signing back into my account, reloading league client and reloading the game. When your enemy laner has 80 more cs and is three levels ahead of you, there's not really any comeback at that point.

So, what do? I hear the error sound when it freezes, but I haven't been able to send a bug-splat as the screen is now locked. All other programs work fine in the background (discord, music, etc) league just prevents any interaction. Also to be noted, it has always occurred right after an ability has been cast by a champion on my screen. This can be from me, my allies or the opposing team, whether I am Alive or dead, whether screen locked or looking on the other side of the map. I like league, and want to continue playing it, but it's literally choking my pc to play it now, as well as ruining the game for my allies and friends.

Any thoughts on how to solve this? Or anyone else facing the same thing? Thanks in advance for any responses.
