Varus seemed to blink everynow and then

I was playing vs a varus mid, and everynow and then (happened 3 times total) during his q charge up. this screwed me up cuz i would try to keep moving to dodge his q, but seeing him blink a bit shocked me and made me not dodge. he only blinked about the range of a flash, but i know it wasnt a flash since there was no sound, visual and the fact that it wasnt a game making play, and wouldnt have been worth the flash.
