2 games I grabbed it and tried it, neither game the passive to reduce smite worked when I killed a big monster with it.

It's only triggered if you kill a large monster WITH Smite IN THE ENEMY JUNGLE. Aka it sucks.

Dragon and Baron also count for doing this. I would use this only if you wanna make the other jungler's game a living hell
