I failed my first Bronze 1 Flex Promotion series. 2 Losses, 3rd game 1 Dodge. I re-entered my promotion series today. I did not get my free win. So I won my first game, but I still do not have my free win. I would really like my free win in order to help me get out of bronze.
I also don't want to win 3 because then that is LP I should have on my account that I am missing.
I thought those freebies were just for divisions, not tiers.
Promo Helper If you lose your promos but make it back into your series, you’ll start off with at least one win. This applies to every division and tier up to Gold I, so you’re on your own for promotion into Platinum and above! In instances where a player elects to dodge a game in a promotion series by leaving during champion select, their account will be ineligible for promo helper upon entering their next series. Finally, promo helper only works once each time you get it. If you’re in a series to move from Gold IV to Gold III with promo helper active, but lose the series and then demote into Gold V, you’ll have promo helper from Gold V to Gold IV, but you won’t have it for Gold IV to Gold III
Well that is a dumb rule. I would have gladly played out that last game and just not tried. I am sure my team would enjoy that. A guy who isn't trying because the chances of going 3 straight wins is unlikely. At least now I know.
