Hextech chest lock up and are empty

Whenever I open a chest recently (did it three times now) it starts the opening animation but then locks up and doesn't I can't click on anything. I have to close the client and when I reopen the client I didn't get anything from the chest, effectively wasting the chest and the keys that I earned/bought. I would love to have this problem fixed and would love to have my Rp refunded or get those chest/keys back.
