Game canceled?

Was just in the middle of a ranked game, pulled rift herald and got an attempting to reconnect message. closed the game and the client didnt give me an option to reconnect? Checked my history and It doesnt show up as a win loss or ever existing and my IP hasnt changed.

Usually this means something happened on Riots end. There could have been a gamebreaking bug or the server hosting your game could simply have died. Either one would cause a wipe of the game.
