I'm in a game right now where if I try to attack with soldiers he will attack once and then start walking towards where you have pointed to attack as if the soldier is not there. I have to keep move attacking just to stop him from doing it all the time.
So, yeah... he's broken again. :/

I came across this too several times vs a Yasuo. Caused me to die when I was so surprised I couldn't react. I also noticed lag spikes with azir where my ping never changed and stayed a constant 50 and fps didn't drop either. it was like the game froze for 1 sec. Only happened twice when I tried to auto attack cancel.

We're aware of a lingering bug where Azir can start automatically moving after issuing soldier attack commands. However, because movement is canceled by other inputs and Azir is a high-input champion, we feel it didn't warrant leaving Azir disabled. It'll be fixed next patch!
