Sudden small patch downloaded broke my client

There was an 8mb patch that just downloaded for my client after I finished a game and required me to restart it about an hour ago and now I can't log back on at all. I keep getting an "Unexpected error with the login session" and don't actually know what's up but now I just can't play and it's kinda annoying.

I gotten the same problem. I had to reinstall League for it to work. Problem now is it might happen once or twice when I try logging on, then it suddenly works again.
