[Gameplay] Undocumented change on Akali's ult dash speed since Patch 5.9

**Edit: Got reply from ricklessabandon: missile speed hasn't changed but total travel time has because of the extra distance, hence causing it to be slower than before. Would be a good area to look into if Riot is making changes to Akali but don't know when. ** source Hello fellow players. Some of you may not have realised, but Akali's ult dash has had it missile speed reduced which resulted in an increased travel time on her dash. This was introduced when they change how her ult works in 5.9 by making it strikethrough the target instead of putting Akali on top of them, and with 5.10 changes making small adjustments.

This was not mentioned in the 5.9 and/or 5.10 patch notes when they changed how her ult worked. The below are video examples showing the before and after differences to her ult:

Old dash - no strikethrough (Before Patch 5.9)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQUFpKEthaU&feature=youtu.be&t=3m46s

New dash - with strikethrough (After Patch 5.9)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY8npzzDR18&feature=youtu.be&t=28m4s

As shown in the first video, the missile speed reduction is clearly obvious:

  • Before Patch 5.9 the dash speed is pretty much instant.

  • Whereas after Patch 5.9 Akali can be seen taking a noticeably longer time gliding through the air when she is dashing.

I do not know if this is intentional or not (bug?) because it does not say anywhere in the 5.9/5.10 patch notes that her ult dash was made slower. Or it simply was not documented.

TLDR: Undocumented change/bug on Akali's ult dash speed since not mentioned in Patch 5.9/5.10 changes.

i already noticed this ever since the change happened, but no one plays akali anymore so they don't see it that often.

Can we get a red to reply to check up on this? It has been 13 patches since 5.9, and the bug is still there.

It would be nice to see if this is intended or not, those videos are very good evidence that something is up.

I see you keep making new posts about this. If it's been that long, I really doubt they are going to change it.
