Locked Screen that cannot be undone

I don't exactly know what I am hitting to cause it, but every once in a while, if i missed "enter" between sending messages, my screen will lock and it becomes impossible to unlock it.

Ive spammed the lock on button. Ive spammed the one on the keyboard. Ive clicked on the area map.

I don't know if dying would fix it (i didn't die either time it happened).

I know disconnecting and reconnecting fixes it.

Has anyone else had this problem and does Riot know this problem exists? It has happened to me twice and it could be a game losing problem under certain circumstances.
